England's biggest win in their World Cup history

England beat Afghanistan by a huge margin of 150 runs in the World Cup 2019 on Tuesday, with captain Eoin Morgan's record-breaking century. This is England's biggest win in World Cup history. Earlier, England had defeated their neighbor Scotland by 119 runs in the 2015 World Cup. With this win, England has now reached number one in the points table.
England, who won the toss and batted first, were bowled out for 397/6 in the stipulated 50 overs. In reply, Afghanistan has 247/8 in 50 overs.
For England, Jofra Archer and Adil Rashid took a maximum of 3-3 wickets. For Afghanistan, Hashmatullah Shahidi scored the highest 76 runs. Rahmat Shah (46) and Asghar Afghan (44) joined him.
The first wicket fell in the second over. Noor Ali Zadran (0) was run by Jofra Archer. Mark Wood then made Gulbadin his prey on the 5th ball of the 12th over. Gulbadin scored 37 off 28 balls. For the third wicket, Rahmat Shah became the first Indian to score 52 runs. Adil Rashid scored 46 runs.
Earlier, the England won the toss and got the news of the Afghan fighters. In addition to Eoin Morgan (148), Jonny Bairstow (90), Joe Root (88) and Moeen Ali in the end also scored 31 runs in 9 balls, making England 397 for 3 in the stipulated 50 overs. This is the highest score any team made in this World Cup.
However, the start of England was very slow. England's first wicket as James Vince (26) in the 10th over was 44 when the team dropped the score. This wicket was taken by Daulat Zadran. Gulbadin Naib gave England another blow on the last ball of the 30th over. Opener Jonny Bairstow (90) became the victim of Gulbadin, heading for his century. Then, with Geyer shifting, Morgan rained fours in every corner of the field.

Morgan faced 72 balls and hit 17 sixes in addition to four fours. At the same time, he also recorded the highest sixes in an innings of ODIs. Bairstow faced 99 balls and hit 3 sixes in addition to 8 fours. Root hit 5 fours and 1 sixes in 81 innings. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan spent 110 runs in 9 overs. He has become the most expensive spell spinner in the World Cup.

In the tournament, the Afghanistan team has suffered defeat in four matches played so far. While Afghanistan is in search of its first win, the hosts would like to maintain their winning streak. Though for them the concerns are not low. Opening batsman Jason Roy is out of the team due to the strain in the muscles.
